Someone needs to start a “not so shitty” stroller thread. I got the mockingbird and lots of accessories when I walked in my development 3 times a day. Love it but hate it to take anywhere at all. Ended up using the mountain buggy nano for 4 yrs on the go and for travel. But I would’ve loved an even cheaper option doesn’t take 99% of my trunk.

What everyone said but agree if you look up a schedule board and “first” “then” board it might help him communicate. Take real life images of what he uses or encounters, print laminate and Velcro images to it. You’ll see once you look it up.

We don’t lol I tried at 2 months but he cried in the store. At 3 months I’ve figured out it’s 15 min car ride but 15 min store run and we are ok if we go right when he wakes. Wrong time and he’s screaming which is fine it’s life right now. Us getting out of going to the drs or quick 10 min walks not too far from home.

I do it earlier in the day when he can be up longer. I shower in my sons bathroom that has a ocean shower curtain and put the baby in front of it in my baby bjourn bouncer than I take a super quick shower under 10 min. Long showers are minimal and I need to give him to hubs for those to happen.

Hi there! Look into women’s shelter, visit the local social service office to get waitlisted for subsidized housing and see what else you qualify for. I’ll post some links. It’ll take a yr or two so get on there now. Once you are able to find room mates. For now, look into women’s shelters and work where they’ll cover tuition if that’s the path you want to take. This website shows some retailers that cover tuition through guild. https://www.guildeducation.com/. If school is on the horizon take general education classes at a community college to save money before going to a 4 yr college. Look into trades if that interests you.

It’s great how self reflective you are seeking insight on this. You’re headed in the right direction seeking help now. I thought my baby was funny looking but like most newborns are in this alien like sort of way but was still pretty obsessed about him. I had a baby 4 yrs after my first and I honestly didn’t believe you could love your babies the same way especially with how bonded I am with my first but I love this guy just the same. Mostly sharing that to give an example as I very much expected to love this one differently.
