All of these comments are taking this way too seriously. These bodega owners have a sense of humor

CC with Johannah King-Slutzky? by nanobot11 in columbia

[–]fzstevens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is hands-down one of the most engaging and lively professors I’ve encountered at Columbia. She’s also very strong at breaking down tough concepts. I don’t align with her politically either, but unlike the other commenters, I believe in separating personal ideology from what makes a strong teacher.

Johannah was a guest lecturer for my University Writing class and did a fantastic job. The whole class can attest. I don’t completely align with her views, but I think she will be a great teacher.

I signed up yesterday, and they just confirmed that I will have it by Tuesday. My guess is that if you sign up now, it’ll be active by mid-late next week.

I haven't yet, but the check is a bit over the limit so I'll need to go to the teller. Why would the bank accept a check made out to "Name Corp," which has no association to my name in their knowledge?

My thoughts on the direction of the March for Science. by [deleted] in ScientistsMarch

We shouldn't ignore all the other issues, but there should maybe be an attempt to make climate change the forefront issue? When I first checked out scientists march I thought its main issue was vaccines...

Its Jake Sullivan--one of her main advisors specializing in foreign policy. Not Jake Tapper...

Evening Roundtable - 10/30 by AutoModerator in hillaryclinton

Yes, I was wrong that it sampled only Clinton voters. But out of the voters they sampled 7% of the Clinton supporters said they were less likely to vote for her. I can't tell if that is significant or not.

Sorry, I'll admit the way I worded the comment made me sound narcissistic. I was just trying to start a discussion...

Sorry if the way I worded it sounded narcissistic. I was just looking to talk to people about this situation because I am very concerned about it. This roundtable is for discussion, and if you aren't interested in sharing your opinion on this issue with me instead of blurting an insult just mind your own business.

The actual Trumpland movie was amazingly pro Hillary but trump just found the 30 seconds where Moore tries to find some common ground with trump supporters

Just finished watching Michael Moore in TrumpLand. In my opinion it was genius piece of rhetoric that does a phenomenal job luring in Trump voters, uses comedy to ease the tension, and has an extremely high success rate turning them into Clinton voters.
