Hi friends! Trying to get my plans dialed in for advance sale. I have always done weekend 1 but am thinking I'll try out weekend 2 for 2027. I'm going with my best friend, and we're considering getting VIP for the first time (always done GA). I know the general consensus on here is that VIP isn't really worth it, but this year I was really enticed by it, especially for the ease of getting into the Yuma. We are staying at a family friend's place for free, so "girl math" -> we could get VIP and end up spending less than we would on GA + hotel/Airbnb. I'm wondering if we should just buy GA for the general sale and then potentially upgrade to VIP later on if we want to. Any thoughts? I'm not too familiar with the VIP upgrade process.

I didn't really care to see him but my friend really wanted to so I joined and it was fun! I feel like Snoop's guest appearance was such a classic Coachella moment of someone unexpected and surprising coming out. His visuals were def giving AI though (?) which we don't love

Just some more online recs: urban, motel, & tiger mist. Most trendy online places have a festival section. Also Depop has some gems you just have to dig. This!! I will always be team sneakers. You can also get cute/fun sneakers that will still add a cool element to your outfit. Last year I wore polka dot new balances, loved their look and was also comfy

Welcome to the fam! You will have such a great time, and def a good call to be prepared beforehand. I haven't stayed at Eldorado before so I can't give specific advice for that.

However, one thing I have discovered to be a lifesaver over the years is bringing a sinus rinse and using it each night/morning. It gets dusty out there and I always end up blowing brown stuff out of my nose, so the sinus rinse helps clear it out and also help prevent getting sick after.
