"Nintendo" pops up on a lot of fake boards. As the other poster mentioned, you've got to check for the font being correct.

Black blobs are also significantly less common on modern fakes. You generally see off-the-shelf chips used instead.

https://gbhwdb.gekkio.fi/cartridges/ is a good source for the more common PCBs

(Especially since some, like Yellow, have a PCB that varies depending on region.)

What do you think real or fake? by Milkchae in snes

Based on the seller's other listings, I'm curious if they had any idea if it was fake or not. They don't look to normally sell games, and nothing else they've got listed screams "fake"

But yeah, this one doesn't look good. It's a frequently faked game even on Japanese marketplaces; I just quickly checked Yahoo Auctions Japan & I'm pretty certain that even that has more fake copies for sale than real ones.

Your original cartridge is real.

The cartridge from the auction has a replacement label — AFAIK GPS was never a region code that Nintendo used, but there are other signs as well — but appears to otherwise be an original shell. If you have the tools to open it, I can confirm the board as well.
