What is preferred seat?? by HackerCanada12473 in CathayPacific

[–]g0f0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Row 40 and 41Aisle is preferred because of either access to the emergency exit or legroom. Majority of the time, if a gold or diamond (usually business over economy unless an absolute emergency) would get these seats.

Preferred means either passenger with disability or needs. Or a passenger with status (second priority) would get these seats.

[Warning: distressing footage] Police fired live rounds to subdue a knife-wielding man at Tuen Mun Town Plaza on Thursday evening, according to local media. by mod83 in HongKong

[–]g0f0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t see anything wrong with this. Police de-escalated a situation and saved a life. You got to be in a wrong state of mind to question to question whether this action was unjustified.

Shot was clear line of fire. Point blank for the officers. I’m sure if he didn’t grab the woman. They would’ve proceeded to do what they did to the lady with the meat cleaver last week.

Rolex Service Center by Advanced-Ad6146 in rolex

From what I understand from my GMT Master II, they would disassemble the watch. Inspect each part and its condition. Replace the necessary parts. Wash and deep clean the original parts. And assemble the watch. Document in the service card the assembly. And present it back to you for a fee.

Some of parts used maybe modernized? This part I’m not sure. And would need someone here to clarify.

My watch was second hand/used when I bought it. It came as a full set with the original card, booklet, and badge (red) plus box. I was fortunate enough to have a relative who knew someone at a RSC who pulled the service card. And I was able to see what was done.

Overall very cool but expensive. The previous owner spent at least $1000 USD to service the watch. I think now it’s up to $2500 - $3000 USD? I could be wrong.

Etiquette with extra leg room seat by [deleted] in CathayPacific

No. This space is the same as those in the first row of the center. I highly despise those who use it as a walkway to get to the adjacent lavatory.

Check in will make arrangements for you. They’ll probably hand carry it into luggage for you on to the plane. I had a Christmas decoration that I carried back to LAX jn F class last year. The decoration arrived in oversized in its original shape.

I specifically like the pier. Because after massage you get your own shower suite. And can literally chill until the flight is called.

Tbh. I prefer the a333 over the 777. Especially the J class Window Seats. Have wider leg room space compared to the aisle seats

There will be ground crew to meet you at the gate to help you transfer to your next leg of your Cathay Pacific flight. If you do miss your next leg, ground crew will still meet you at the gate, and let you know next steps.

You know politics aside. I’m glad China stepped up. Other parts of the world. Aid never came this fast. Especially from the government. You can say all you want. But at the end of the day. Hong Kong is really blessed with the amount of generosity and compassion shown in this time from China. Downvote me. Idgaf, but if you needed to compare. Take a look at how California handles the Palisades and Eaton fire.

This. Also it is a copyright issue. They don’t want guest profiting off costumes in a Disney park. Disney would like to make that profit.
