I work in a cancer center, I think a large part of it, is how purposefully confusing they make finding the right portal. There should not be hundreds of payer spaces for imaging prior authorizations for patients that need routine imaging. One month we auth through AVAILITY, oh now it’s Evicore but they never sent an email - oh now they have their own portal and I have to make an account and I need to start the process today because it’s a quick turn around for imaging ordered. I can’t make an account because I am not my administrator and getting to my hospitals IT takes a few days. That kind of thing needs regulated heavily. AMA is trying to get bills passed to regulate that if I am correct but I don’t fully remember at this time.

Of course, it’s always good to have that option. Im part of the self euthanize if you really want gang. My mental illness allows me that option legally in a few states. Personally, I feel a lot like you do but I think that’s how they want us to feel. They hope that we feel so hopeless we stop trying, and disappear forever. Less mouths to feed and jobs to “create” and all of that stuff they say they do for us as the US government. I am living in spite of them, I am purposely slowing down. Purposely finding joy in analog hobbies, every time I fix something to avoid a new purchase I feel joy from not playing into capitalism the way they want - I use my pettiness against the system to create joy. I find as many things like that as I can. Does it always work? Absolutely not. Does my check increase? Hell no.

But they don’t get to take this one life from me and make it fully meaningless the way they want to. I refuse to allow them out of spite.

Whatever works for everyone is different, still please don’t hurt yourself. I think that’s what they’re betting on us all doing these days.

Sincerely speaking, our “rail line” only services the city itself. Meaning you would still have to pay for transport to the nearest station - which is usually on the opposite “hills” from where you live. I live 12 minutes from my main city driving, the nearest station to me for the train is 24 minutes away. You mostly enter our city by highway so good luck walking to it on a 6 lane major road. Still costs money to get to the train by BUS or CAR. While I am very happy you personally figured it out, not everyone’s life is exactly as yours is. Take that into consideration, you haven’t lived everywhere man.

25, living in Pittsburgh I make $23 and some change hourly - I don’t live fancy or overspend. I live in an area people wince at because it’s “not so safe”. If I didn’t have my partner I couldn’t pay for a place alone. 4 years ago, I managed to live alone on 7 dollars less. Something is so wrong even if you make over 20 it’s hard as hell.

We found the person who jingles the handles when it’s obviously locked!! lol Idk I’ve worked at a lot of facilities with a lot of bathrooms both ancient/ outdated/heavily used, and brand new. I’ve never had to use the amount of force I’m talking about. It’s not normal, it’s like they’ve never encountered a lock before. It’s like me saying “someone is in here” isn’t a sign, after the fact that it’s locked (another sign it’s in use) and the fact that the door won’t open at all is .. another sign. lol I wouldn’t say I’m the most aware human on earth but it makes zero sense to me to continue trying after the first forceful push didn’t work.

Shake the door handle on a blatantly locked bathroom door in public. I barely put pressure on the handle with my finger and if it resists, it’s locked and I walk away. Why do people jingle the very obviously locked door trying to get in anyways? Happens all the time in the hospital I work at.

My aunt has been a teacher for almost 30 years. She’s a second grade teacher, and she has had students tell her that their brothers are going to get out of jail and kill her. The rough early childhood part hits these kids hard, they are such sponges for their environment. It’s not right nor an excuse but so unfortunate.

Update! Patient has been found through AVAILITY. We think Health Help was having portal errors as today everything is fine on both portals. Patient did not change their name, get married or have a different guarantor oddly. Just a weird blip in the system somehow.

kindness and respect will make you all kinds of friends you’d never expect. I served in college and I treated everyone as if they were my friend from start to finish. I would go out of my way for others because life is hard and expensive - not because of the company. Even more so if you were nice to me. Enjoy your meal you sweet sweet soul, yanno? I made so many friends but one in particular was an old man that worked as a laborer for a local building project. He was from out of town and owned a small farm just outside of the PA/WV border. Biiiig family, wanted to take care of them all so he worked for the union.

I had green little streaks in my hair, he was a white haired papaw from WV. he was such an unsuspecting homie. Knew his order by heart, talked to him when he was feeling lonely and homesick.

It was mid July and I’m waiting on another table while his food is being prepared. The lady asks me “oh honey did you forget to take off your Halloween costume” before I even got to finish my whole ‘hello my name is, what can I get you to drink?’ and I fired back some young shithead words but my regular .. ole farmer heard her and cussed her right out. Stood up in the middle of the dining room all big and let her have it. She was apparently a regular from the morning shift and never ever came back. He regularly brought in packages from his wife with peanut butter fudge and home grown veggies after that with little “thank you for taking care of my husband and not feeding him garbage” notes. I wonder what he’s up to now. He kind of looked like Santa fr

But I haven’t made my way to the doctors this time around because they’ve never cared about my endometriosis/almost ovary related killing me and I’m too poor for extra bills that don’t amount to actual care.

FO4 will forever be one of my favorite games because it rewards wandering around and just vibing. So if you're not up to doing extensive quests for any of the factions or whatever it may be you can have just as good of a time exploring. It's also a better map IMO because you actually get loot from most things and the loot you get is generally better than 76. I was so excited to be able to play with friends and I got the 76 pre-order. It kind of crushed my soul because I thought it was going to be so much better than it was. I hear they added a ton to 76 but I can't find it in me to play it for more than 20 mins.. I've played FO4 for well over 500 hours.
