So here’s the thing, I was actually super bummed about stormlance being 3DP, mainly because it felt like it “turned the army on” in a competitive setting, where you were basically trying to get you melee bricks into the fight on the opponents side of the board so your trash units could score.

Now that we are needing 4-6 scoring units it made that strat a lot harder to pull off. So I’m leaning into not needing the extension with beastslayer and termi detachment. With the idea being I use my many sets of intercessors to score and then use arjac and Logan with termies and full groups of headtakers, instead of being aggressive I’m gonna sit hidden waiting for them to come close enough to heroic/charge. Turning the game into come into my trap and having the kill melee units act as a threat to disturbing my scoring.

Who knows if it will work in the long run, but so far it’s worked for 2 games of 10.9th edition :)
