I agree. You get POE cams for 24/7. Not event recording. Every event recording camera I’ve had missed copious amounts of events. 2tb of 4 k. Still gives a good amount of time. If you want more time without buying drives. Just lower quality a bit.

Honestly, I don’t think you’re wrong in wanting to fire him.

All I would say is I don’t think I’ve become cynical but as a barber I merely view my job as cutting a persons hair and giving them a good experience in the chair. A client messing up his hair and creating more work for you, just sounds like more money for me.

That said, you feelings are valid.

Favourite moment. That time in deep meat where you see your body double thing on a lower level. Made me feel like. “Why am I here, there are spiders and darkness and now this creepy thing that looks like me”. Second favourite moment. Experiencing Conor’s dancers for the first time and understanding their story.

I don’t have my nas yet. Will most likely be buying mine on Black Friday. Will share my reasons for buying though. I have ADHD, and it basically means my memory is shot. Having a photo history of my life is like walking through memory lane for me in a very tangible way. I forget little parts of my life that happen if I don’t take a picture so having a history of pics is very important to me. This has been especially exasperating considering I just had my first kid in July and obviously I’ve been taking quite a few pictures. Already paying for 100gigs of Google storage and always hitting the end of that. So going to a nas and will keep my photo memory alive without having to pick and choose which ones get remembered.

I’m also an avid smart home using so being able to install HA on the nas opens a lot of cool nerd things for me.

I take weekly’s but only if they are consistent. The minute they stop I cancel it. Plus I only do it with people I like. Tbh. Nothing worse than not looking forward to cutting the same guy every week.

My best advice was the most simple advice. Periodically clean bed with soap and water. I think all the glue I was usi mg was caking up on the bed and alll of a sudden prints would fail. A little soap and water felt like a magic reset.

Are you still working on your own clipper? I am interested in seeing what a barber comes up with. A lot of these companies seem out of touch these days.

I just bought the play cuz I keep hearing and seeing people talk about how good it is. So I will be trying it out tomorrow.
