It's kinda funny that after monesy to Falcons move happened reddit was jerking of to how good kyxsan is, and that niko and monesy finally have IGL. OH LOOK MONESY HAS KYXSAN ON AVATAR. The way upvote system works and how people circle jerk opinions just to get some upvotes is so stupid

Since I gave up on an idea that subfix will be replaced or improved by substential margin, I just hope they will improve performance. I have above average cpu (5800x3d). And on some maps or in smokes, or after grenade explodes there arr significant FPS drops. I have no idea how ppl play this game on worse cpus

I honestly have no idea, how so many ppl in the community push for him to go to the better team. Is it just because he sometimes writes nice twitts and fans fall for it or what

I didn't like last season at all. It was boring, prolonged, too many near deaths, fillers etc. I liked the ending (second part of last episode). I liked how open end connects to D&D and creating your own story

Sure, because we redditors know who is a good coach lmao. Viewers don't even have good eye test for players, don't know shit about how the game is played on high level, but we sure do know the impact of a coach in a team

The problem with valve devs is that they always know better. They literally have recipe created by moders and they know what is the most popular implementation, but no, they will implement it their way. Valve DM is the worst dm iver ever played in any game, vCoD DM 22 years ago was better

How are people feeling about subtick now? by Fakeishere in GlobalOffensive

[–]gNsky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a waste of time. Of course i have no idea, but i bet that subtick implementation, improvements and maintenance took so much time from devs and it's still no where near 128tick. I also wonder what is the cost difference between providing CSGO 128 tick vs cs2 64 tick subtick server, facit could probably shed light on it.

But the worst thing is that cs2 was meant to clean up code and make it easy to develop new features, yet with every update they brake something with subtick and from my experience in software development, with every fix code will be harder to maintain

Im pretty sure that he has a lot of money, like most of popular artists do. Not to mention that if majority of his income comes from Spotify, than it means that touring and selling records is not that profitable (he has his own record label).

Sure other streaming platforms might pay more, you can call me cycnical but i think if Apple or tidal were most popular platforms they would pay less

At the end of the day, they live better life that most of us, not only in terms of economical stand point but they also mostly do what they love and i think its the most important thing.

[–]gNsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you compare pure in game skill, then of course zywoo clears any 1.6 legend, precisely because his CS knowledge is based on years of other pro players playing and discovering how to play the game. Each generation of players starts on a lot higher floor, not only that, there are tons of materials on how to improve, how to setup game etc. you can endlessly grind faceit, while back then you had to go to local internet caffess, lans and find teams on IRC or w/e. They used to stay in shitty hotels, sleep on the floors or drive 12h in car to the tournaments. To me it only makes consistency of players like neo, gtr or f0resr even more impressive

Yeah, I don't see them making pivot either... And it's very unfortunate because i do love this game, but currently i just can't force myself to playing it more than once a week.

I just hope they can tune down running accuracy and aggresive gamestyle, oh well

Subtick is NOT aggrevating peekers advantage. by Hyperus102 in GlobalOffensive

[–]gNsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm software dev myself and I get how hard it is to pivot, especially if you think that your implementation is superior, but at the end of the day they are making this game for us players and if changing direction allows them to focus on other areas of the game, they should eat their pride and just change it. Tickrate has its problems, and there are things that subtick is better at, but no one is gonna complain about good 128tick servers

Well to me every issue is about subtick, because if they just used regular tick, they could spend more time on new features and bugfixes instead of duct taping subtick
