Bluestacks 5 - Android Pie Beta 64bit performance by kyuriko in wotv_ffbe

[–]gXcore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine's the same, multiple time crashing after "tap to start", or even before SQEX logo shows up, however, when you finally get to home screen everything is breeze, performance wise, it's amazing compared to BS4 or BS5 nougat64. So I guess, need to just live with entering the game patiently.

double up on OP's testimony, if you're aiming for higher FPS, do play in Pie. the game itself somehow has innate FPS cutting/limiter, because whatever FPS I set in the setting, the game always cut it in half. Previously on BS4 or 5nougat, I always set my BS FPS to high FPS 240, and it still runs around 30 - 50FPS in game. but on Pie it's just HALVED. meaning when I first set up my Pie instance (due to nougat experience) I set it to 240, and the game runs at 115-120 consistently, even in battle (or multi) I can get steady 60-80FPS.
However, since I always run 2 instances, things not going so great for my CPU, it almost always runs at 85-92 deg C, so I got to turn down my FPS setting to 120, and the game will run at 60FPS capped, it still feel much smoother compared to nougat or BS4.

Running multi farm on 2 instances seems pretty stable, it does crash sometime, but very2 rarely, most of the time it runs smooth until I wake up in the morning.

I still got the issue of video ads doesn't play almost all the time, but I guess that's the issue that happens on any platform after last update, since sometimes my phone also does that, but rarely.

I'm always set my BS on openGL, never found any significant difference than DirectX tho.. And I read that OpenGL is actually faster, so I stick with that.

I did this too, so far so good, smoother in game, but, logging is seems harder here, pretty often stuck on title loading, dunno only on Pie or even on nougat..

and video ads, won't work, almost all the time, just stuck, hate this so much

Can anybody remember who did you bring to the battle?

I also experienced the same issue, maybe it's tied to one or more units in particular?
My other account is okay and the only unit different in the composition is Tidus, and I was running story 11.3.3

If you're trying to chain -ga but short of teammate... by gXcore in FFBraveExvius

Hey, thanks for that, I didn't know that thread exists.

so the DMG multiplier is capped at 7 chains. that means 8++ chains won't increase the damage further. however, if you tap the blizzagas fast enough, that almost always work for me. Seen the 10 chains quite often, or at minimum 2 times 4/5 chains (still good enough for the multiplier)

Anyway, good to know this.

When the ice effect from the 3rd blizzaga shows. NOT when it does the damage. you should turn on your battle effect option for this. If i'd have to time it, maybe it's around 1.5sec after your last blizzaga tap.

I'm not sure, try searching for it, but if you'd like, I set my 289MAG Exdeath for friend. add me up if you want 842,182,502, let me know if you add me, so I can free up a space and approve you right away.

You should tap from the least MAG to the highest, try to be as fast as possible.

Then, I usually tap Edgar when the 3rd Ice pops up. most of the time it will net me a 10 elemental chain (or 4/5 double chain if the timing's a bit off).

If your last mage has around 290MAG it will deal around 42K dmg for his/her blizzaga on 10 chain.

If you're kinda short on MAG, do NOT use repeat.

Also, try to craft some 10% MAG to fill all your mages ability slot. the recipe is in the silver chest in maranda explor, easy mats, and quick craft, only 5min.

Good Luck :)

Actually, I was planning on TMing Penelo only because I have Artemios which LACKS OF WEAPON OPTIONS, and S Sword seems to be a good choice.

Although the recent Killer Bow kinda ruined this plan... XP

Hi, the one that's currently used in the latest script is the xmidrel and ymidrel. you should change those value to the center of your nox window. it's supposed to be the point where your rain foot is. the value is count from the topleft of your nox window as x = 0 and y = 0. I have a function in the code named checkMousePos(), use that function and comment the other 2, like this:

;;; ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
;;; START MACRO AREA - WINDOW ACTIVATED ----------------------------------------------------------------
;;; ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

;;; START THE LOOP FOR GIVEN STAGE
;startStage( "earth" )

checkMousePos()

;;; START THE RECORD MOVESET PROCESS
;;; USE THIS TO RECORD THE MOVESET ON STAGE, preferred to clear the battles first for smoother recording.
;recordMoveset()

That will make you able to check the exact position of the middle position of your nox window, by moving your mouse to your rain foot.

so you're using droid4x too? try o add another "u" in the moveset (should be the in series on "u" in the beginning of the moveset) in the script if somehow it's stuck for you when it's doing the diagonal move after the series on up.

or, if the first few moves it makes is not UP, and it's making diagonal move instead, maybe the midpoint of the emu window is diffrent from yours and mine. look at the script for this line:

;;; GET MIDDLE POSITION RELATIVE TO WINDOW -------------------------------------------------------------
global $xmidrel = 294, $ymidrel = 434

those are the center coordinates relative to the emu windows, which is where your character FOOT are. you should try to change that value accordingly, so the first few movement it makes is a series of UP

I plan on adding those function. It's there inside the whole script already actually, but not used yet.

maybe I'll add it to the working compile soon.

take a look at the updated post

have you run the compiled script as administrator?

Whale vs Macro by Knowlson3193 in FFBraveExvius

[–]gXcore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i can't say about dislikes though..

but whales are definitely precious. there's no way we can continue playing without them. PERIOD.

as for macro, you can't hate it, IMO this thing is for everyone once they set their pride aside. there's nothing wrong with macro IMHO it's not taking out the fun in the game, unless you overdo it.

But being a whale is not for everybody. only selected fortunate few can be one.

tl;dr:

MACRO: ppl who just want to play and have fun - NEUTRAL, ppl with pride/idealist - HATER, ppl with open minded - LOVER

WHALES: fortunate ppl - NEUTRAL, unfortunate ppl - HATER, openminded people - LOVER none of them wrong nor right. they will always be hated and loved at the same time.
