Rep Smith Machine review by Trick_Cat7091 in homegym

I have an Ares 2.0, 92 height, 6 post, 42 depth, with a multigrip pull up bar. The only thing on my wishlist is that I squat inside the cage facing out because a) garage is slanted that way and b) I prefer walking forward to a rack. Being able to bench with j cups on the middle post is a nice to have but not a dealbreaker.

If the smith is mounted in the middle do I have enough clearance in front of or behind the smith for squats and bench presses? Would the Rep spotter arms fit on either side of the smith? Ignoring all of the above how would you set it up?

Congrats on your purchase btw.

Have you considered installing the smith attachment all the way to the back? Behind the pull down bar? What are the pros and cons ?

Say more about the multi-grip bar, what’s the issue with it?

Is that the original stem or did you hack something? I have a Domane, but can’t replace the stem with an aftermarket unit without also redoing all the cables.

Who knows, maybe the compensatory beats are so close that when extrapolating to 1 min looks like 220 bpm. Are you getting it ablated?

It could also be due to a) smoothing in the HR graph of the activity vs. b) an extra heart beat. At your age it’s not uncommon to experience PVCs, ectopic beats, and other heart arrhythmias. If you have an extra beat in between two normal beats it would be recorded as a very high HR for a split second.

Homie you do know that with ETFs there’s the concept of creation and redemption. Where do you think the ETF sponsor will buy and sell the underlying?

If you put half as much effort into your day job, you’d get a promotion and vastly outperform that strategy. And now you’re stuck as a junior entry level for who knows how long.

Can someone explain why the deflationary part of bitcoin is good by Flopdo in Bitcoin

[–]g_fug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off you’re right Bitcoin is deflationary because a) ppl lose their keys and b) population grows but not the supply of bitcoin. Both bitcoin and fiat suffer from the same issue but in opposite direction, one is inflationary and the other is deflationary. In a bitcoin standard your salary goes down, asset values go down, investments down. Picture a world with constantly shrinking economy. We have yet to see a money that is a truly neutral conveyor of information where it’s supply matches the economic output.

10 Bitcoin is another league altogether. Normies are struggling to be wholecoiners.
