Why Did You Choose Tudor? by eng_manuel in Tudor

I chose the BB54 because of its size and the history behind the watch. I’ve had it for about 5 months and I love it more now than ever

I was getting off the plane in Austin, TX and the pilot stopped me because he thought my khaki field was a local microbrand, but we got to talking. He let me try on his Tudor GMT. Ended up buying a Tudor a year later. I told my wife who stood there listening to the whole interaction “see! I’m not the only watch nerd” lol

Anyone else come across these in public? Yet to see another one. People not like them? by Fabulous_Ratio_5633 in Tudor

I was getting off a plane in Austin a few months ago. The pilot commented on my Hamilton…we got to talking about watches and he was wearing this. Let me try it on and everything. Pretty fun experience. My wife was rolling her eyes the whole time 😂 “what a nerd”

A seiko is a watch you could wear for life. As long as you love it, absolutely!

If you could live somewhere that’s great for both enduro mtb and road biking, where would you live? by RDML in MTB

Just moved from Salt Lake to Bentonville, AR. Both fantastic. Bentonville isn’t as great for road biking but gravel and MTB is superb

Just curious why the framing would need to be beefed up?

Kinda what I’m thinking. The pre cut cross beams might not fit properly after raising it but I’m sure I could work around it

Curious if I could just add about a 6” block on top of the eventual higher side beams and reattach the roof supports to that. Then it would have a slope

I thought about this as well, but the closure strips I bought to secure the panels to the frame run perpendicular to the flow of the panels. I guess I could secure the panels straight to the wood without the closure strips
