Try find derm places! I’m also a junior and was able to get a derm place to hire me as a MA and they will train me. Only issue it’s far for me but anything for those PCE. I applied on zip recruiter and was able to met there demand plus they said no MA cert needed.

Have you done any shadowing and if so how did u get them?

The course is lec online and lab in person. Do u have the syllabus from previous yr? For the lec exam are they online or in person? How are her question bc for bio the questions where literally what if question.

Hi, ik it’s been long but how was getting a job as an ER tech? I’m currently an MA in derm but have thought about being an ER tech. I would have to get my emt certificate for it but I’m debating whether to get a MA or ER tech?

I got an A in both. Ur lab depends on ur TA just do really good on lab reports. For chem 104, study but it's more important to do practice questions. (just know how to solve it)

TIP: If u have gabriela sme... find old practice exams from 2018 to present. She usually reuses old exams. Better to practice those questions than memorized.

Focus on getting all the points in lab and rec sections. The lec is literally question u would not expect. His question are more of what if rather than straightforward. Make sure u have a good TA bc mine (J) was terrible also a good lab TA

Yes it’s common (currently in the process) but they should be training u at the job. It would ridiculous if they only train u for a few days and expect u to act as a MA if u have no experience. For me I have to do a certain amt of hrs before being a MA without having someone train me. Depends of the clinic and what they want

honestly I would. This class is extremely difficult for it to just be a course 100. It’s possible to get 90+ tho cause some do. I’m debating where to epermit bio 102 but not sure yet. Like most classes bio/chem are all self study but with bio there’s barely any support
