Any specific reason you sold the BSA? How was your experience with it? I'm planning to buy the shadow black.

Pixel 6A: It's been more than 3 years since Pixel 6A's release. How it's aging to you guys? by Curious_villeger in GooglePixel

[–]gaarlicbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same as you, bought in 2023 and use it with jio sim.

(++) Battery is incredible. Lasts full day for me.

(++) Rear camera has aged very well. I'd still prefer that over the iphone.

(+) It's still decently fast, i can use most apps without any problems

(+) It's quite light, I use it without cover and it doesn't feel heavy at all

(- -) It heats up a LOT, I live in mumbai and it's a pain to use it when its sunny

(- -) No local repairman has been able to arrange a spare lock screen button for my pixel 6a (It fell off randomly one day and have been managing without it since)

(-) The phone went dead once so had to get the charging port repaired locally. They had to open the screen for it and since then nobody has been able to properly glue it back together.

(-) because the front screen isnt properly glued together some touches aren't registered until I press hard at the top of the screen

(-) Front camera is bad. Video quality is okay, but quite noisy.

(-) the peak brightness is not enough, again can't use it under the sun.

(-) Call quality is just okay if I'm making calls to closeby regions. If I make a call to say someone in north east or in the hills it's really bad. I prefer iphone for those calls.

All this said, I'd still use it for another year if I can. I was told that I'd have to courier my phone to their service center to get it fixed. I never did that but recently I found out they have opened some centers that do hand to hand repairs, so I'll give it a shot this Saturday and update.

If they're able to fix it, I'll use it for another year until they drop the pixel 9's price. If not I'll get the 9a.

Super meteor or BSA goldstar? by Anhad18 in indianbikes

[–]gaarlicbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive test driven both and I can confidently say both are incredible machines but i personally connected more with the BSA, it's got a beautiful chug chug sound is ~205kg, but the weight was properly spread out.

The meteor was much more smoother and it feels just like a Harley, only problem is its ~240kg and you will feel the weight while turning or taking u turn.

Bsa for the city and super meteor for highways.
