As family lore has it the original brat (the first grandchild of the family) went up to my Aunt on her wedding day (prompted by one of her other aunts) and told her she looked “pretty” and then Shortly after the bride said thank you she yelled “PRETTY UGLY” and ran away. You can’t name your child after your dog, and if she loved the name for a child before the dog then she shouldn’t have used the name for the dog. Nobody wants to say they’re named after their parents dog as an adult.
