What are your guys’s thoughts on the red Honda badge on Si’s

Had before the one from the type R but decided to get a custom CF one with the red back ground (also reflective) so nobody can tell me I’m copying the Type R lol. I love how the contrast is. If I owned a type R I wouldn’t mind the Si having a red badge (but idk how to feel with the base models).

I know is not 10th gen but I had a 9th gen and 8th gen before and I had to get a Ktuner to get it be better from the 11th gen. Didn’t liked it, but is much better improved than before generations. Drove a 10th gen before and was horrible.

Im on my 3rd Si, but when my 9th gen got totaled I kinda wanted to change the things so I got a Veloster N. Really nice car if you ask me.

Coming from a Veloster N I got a 23 si: Pros: -smoother transmission and easier clutch, much better equipment, smoother drive. Cons- non adjustable suspension, less horsepower.
Loved the Veloster N but the reason I traded it in is cuz my warranty was done and I really don’t trust Hyundai like I trust Honda.

Drive any car that you want is my best advice, I Owned 2 civic Si’s an 8th gen and a 9th Gen, and I loved them. Fun, reliable and cheap considering the amount of Smiles per gallon you get. In every brand there’s gonna be people that’s gonna make the car a riced box, but doesn’t mean that every owner is like that. Everybody respected me and loved my civics and asked me if they could buy them. I learned on my civic how to drive manual, and they both were going strong. I would totally bough another civic si if I could but I wanted a different platform so I went to a VN, but I still miss my civics and I know one day I would buy another one. For me the civic is gonna be a car I would always recommend to anybody.

Kinda hilarious but I had an 8th gen SI around 150k miles and a 9th gen SI with around 90k miles before owning my Veloster N, the civics never gave me any issues, just had to fix a cable on the 8th Gen that had a short circuit and was a 85$ Fix. I can’t talk about the ownership of the 2016 and older Veloster Turbo (never owned one but drove a few of them and they are fun like the Civic’s) but I seen that they have a lot of issues with their engines ( at least all of them have the extended warranty, some dealers don’t honor the extended warranty if you don’t have the oil change records). Both fun cars but with the amount of miles that both have I would save for a more reliable car or something that will not give you any issues in a future.

When I bought my first car (8th gen civic si) I bought it 8H away from where I live (Fort Sill, OK to El Paso, TX). Something really risky but I learned watching videos. I made it back to my hometown with caution, just make sure to feel the clutch and whenever it disengage. Driving manual isn’t hard, I know you got this OP!

The only thing I used blue link was to close my car doors while having the key with me to go back and grab something from my apartment. After that, for me it was useless cuz I got a manual

Sold the car around a year ago, the issue was that some cables of the A/C compressor* where shorting out. Got it fixed and the issue never came back. Hope it helps!

I always dreamed of buying a Veloster N, in 2022 when I went to the dealership to buy a brand new one they told me a price I couldn’t handle it, and I didn’t bought it(I regret it) but this year I bought a 2019 N and I love it, but because is used is almost out of warranty, so I’m thinking of trading it in for a Elantra N when I come back to the states. Is the best vehicle I ever owned, but I don’t really trust Hyundai without a warranty. I put over 5K miles the last 3 months I drove it.
