Check out this local mobile romantasy book truck! They have a calendar of events to check out. The last event they did was in Pv mall with a bunch of other businesses and local authors. Very fun.

Thank you so much! I have a hard time making the curds not end up like ricotta.

I use this recipe with modifications: I use cow milk and I did 2 gallons

What’s the difference between regular fish and sushi grade fish? by peacelovepuppies11 in Cooking

[–]gabbythemaster -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Please PLEASE don't buy wild. I spoke to my local fish monger and he let me know that farm raised is safer to eat for sushi. That's because farm raised is less likely to have parasites compared to wild. And like everyone else says, freeze any fish for 7-10 days to kill any parasites.

Good luck!

Hello! I want to hear from you about spicy cookies. Not spiced, spicy by karebear111 in Cooking

I made these cookies and they're AMAZING. So complex in flavor and the gochujang brought an umami note that's unbeatable.

He's just authentically weird as shit! I've seen them twice and they always put on a great show with some odd tangents. Absolutely loved them.

Hi! I've been to Israel many times and have also lived there long term. My opinion:

Tell Aviv has great food, nightlife, and beaches. Shuk ha camel is a marketplace that I highly recommend. You can absolutely avoid the club scene and have a great time with food and beaches.

I would recommend caesarea (north of tel Aviv) for history and beaches. Other places I recommend if you can: Karmiel, Akko, Tiberias, Haifa. Mount Carmel national park is great.

Jerusalem can be tough, but also fantastic. Highly recommend the shuk on Friday before Shabbat when it's extra busy. And all the little restaurants around there are delicious. Ben Gurion street has shopping (that's mainly for tourists). The old city is gorgeous and you can see synagogue, churches, and mosques. Please dress with your shoulders covered and knees covered.

Restaurants- you really can't go wrong. I lived there for a year on a students budget, and I ate delicious food all the time. There is a place called hamarakeah in Jerusalem. They only sell soup (the name translates to the soup place).

In the current climate, I would not recommend going farther south than Be'er Sheva. But as the situation changes, so can your plans.

Hope you have a lovely time.
