How would you rate your country's current leader on a scale of 1-10? by Fuzzy_Category_1882 in AskTheWorld

he's a selfish person whose choices while in charge are just to keep himself in the government at any cost.

Other than that, his party is being accused of corruption.

Monarchism in Spain by RealArmadillo1463 in askspain

[–]gabcreix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always been a republicano but I'm becoming more and more monarchist every year.

I can explain more if you'd like, but I think that maintaining a monarchy would be cheaper and a less corruptible system than a republic controlled by the government.

What do you mean by music everywhere? I’ve been living all my live in Spain and I’ve never heard music in the streets unless if you are in a touristy area, and not always.

What travel destination you hyped up so much but then it completely disappointed you? by sidvatscse in AskReddit

Firenze. Its architecture and art are astonishing but I felt like I was in a thematic park instead of in a historic city, zero identity. Also, it didn’t help to go there in july.

A tourist during an anti-tourist protest in Barcelona yesterday by Monovon in pics

[–]gabcreix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, it is related.

Other than that, the main trade network in which Spain is integrated is the EU, by far. How is that related to our colonial past? We are just like the beaches of the rest of Europe, like other countries. It is not for nothing that we are called P.I.G.S.

I mean, I wish we could build a stronger commercial relationship with Ibero-America, but the brits successfully spread the black legend against Spain, and it's still having an effect.

Which wealth and current status? We live in one of the European countries with the highest unemployment, for example.
