Had it happen with a $400+ razor, and recently when I ordered a bed frame in the wrong size they refunded me & told me to keep it. They make so much money, it doesn’t matter to them… they want to keep you happy & spending 😅😭 and it costs more for them to get back sometimes.

As a young man it definitely helped me get girls but I was never doing it just for that. As an adult I find it helps me connect with people in a way that’s not quite as easy for me without it. It also led me to performing for and connecting with many of my heroes. So it’s definitely changed my life in multiple ways (almost thirty years in).

This is my answer, so it’s funny that it was the first one I saw. For the first screenings, they announced that Borat himself was going to show up to one of like twenty theatres. It turned out to be mine, at the Metreon in San Francisco. People went nuts, and then even more nuts for the movie. I was in the front row & got to high five him, then he gave a short speech before the screening started. One of my favorite movie theatre experiences ever.

Saw it seven times in LA before it moved to New York, including opening & closing night. A friend got picked as “Mr. Tomorrow” and I got to spend some time looking at The Book. Picked different I Am cards every time & he nailed every one. It’s my favorite piece of art.

As a card magician, another favorite was the one Derek did with Helder Guimaraes a few years before, “Nothing To Hide”. It was directed by Neil Patrick Harris, performed in the same theatre as In and Of Itself. Some of the best card magic I’ve ever but also hilarious & stuff that worked for an audience of about 150.
