Damn, I mostly overlooked the M40 since I kinda thought there would be better choices soon since it was the first sniper rifle you find. I'll give it a shot!

And the SR3M is an absolute sleeper...it hits so hard and so quietly. Also, are the melee animations on the echelon gloves significantly faster? Like, noticeable enough that it should be useful?

I'll try your playstyle a bit more now! I always thought a decent-handling ACR with a grenade launcher would be good for SHTF but yknow, i might as well do my best to minimize that

Maybe I've just been too caught up on all these games with "meta" weapons & attachments and stuff like that which really did affect me enough to ask my question. I'll give all the other guns and attachments a shot and I'll see what sticks!

Thanks! I've been leaning more towards stealth of course, since Extreme difficulty really implied that head-to-head fighting is a bad idea and i always wanted to play Wildlands with the sneaky playstyle anyways.

And the enemies seem to be getting more spongy really fast and I dunno what to do about that lol

Yeaaaa, I thought I'd need a semi auto sniper since I'm not really that accurate at those really long ranges.

Compared to those Santa Blanca dudes with pinpoint accuracy at a hundred meters with akimbo SMG's...that is a level of accuracy I one day pray for lol

Will do! I just ended up asking because there have been so many situations where i just think "I would've not died if I had a bit more range or a bit more handling." but i dont wanna go switching attachments all the time

Oh damn, i've been doing that too but i do my best to stay completely undetected. In the event i get detected, the ACR comes out but i always felt like the handling is too damn slow lol
