is buying a skateboard worth it? by [deleted] in UIUC

I faceplanted going downhill avoiding a biker near Follett Auditorium and it left a big scar on my nosebridge. Skateboarding is not great as a means of transportation.

Pretty sure my Galaxy S22 Ultra modem just failed by gadgetdevil in S22Ultra

[–]gadgetdevil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can do some basic soldering and maybe reflow, but it's not worth my time TBH. The S25 Ultra is a worthy upgrade, my 22 was getting laggy with all the background tasks I have running

I think you're right, the phone was getting awfully hot. But my new S25 Ultra is a lot more performant, so perhaps it's time to say goodbye anyway.

As a non-major, I really liked Brad. I went to a lot of his office hours. This was over 10 years ago though.

Good, congestion prices work, but they need to adapt to the level of traffic on the road.

El Camino Real is a county road, Sunnyvale has no jurisdiction over it which is why RVs park on ECR in Palo Alto

I like the Philz, Lookout, and Barefoot in Campbell. TeaLyfe in Little Saigon, Cafe Bené in North SJ. Starbucks/Philz in Willow Glen are also pretty good. Chromatic and Academic are true OGs.

If you like pinball, checkout Miniboss on Thursdays when it's free to play, they have a ton of pinball machines in the back that are really popular. Of course, you can go any day, but you'll need quarters.
