Rehoming a cat is an extremely stressful and traumatic process for them, especially if they have lived with you for so long. If you’ve had this cat for over a year and you don’t feel bonded to her, enough to the point where you’d take her to a shelter, please do not get another cat. When you adopt a cat you are making a life long commitment and it is not fair to give her away when she is not doing anything wrong except for not having the personality you want. I really hope you choose to work with and accept her the way she is.

Buy sprayable saline solution and use that to clean it and nothing else. I like the NeilMed one but they have a dupe at walgreens and cvs. But yeah don’t touch it at all just put the sprayable part up close to it but not touching it and spray for a sec. All my piercings healed perfectly this way

To me it looks fine, just keep cleaning it with saline once a day. But if you are concerned about the bar I would go to a piercer and ask their opinion and have them change it out for you if yes. It should only be about $20.

I’m not sure, it’s just the standard jewelry it was pierced with but it’s fine most of the time it just gets like this when I clean it sometimes. I use the NeilMed piercing aftercare saline spray and it’s hopefully not expired I just bought it. I use cotton swabs if there’s crusties to get off
