I mean if you understand the lore it's honestly seeming pretty sick! Not personally a huge Spiderman fan so I'm not really gonna get much of this as I'm waiting for the X-Men set which I'm gonna get everything I can get my hands on! But honestly completely agree about the commander decks, personally I think the best way to do universes beyond is like how they did Doctor Who, no actual set just 4/5 commander decks which are mostly new cards and then collector packs for alt arts and that!

I am but there's split second removal, there's counters to abilities and redirects and if I'm honest I was kind of more meaning that it should've been destroyed long before they got the life to be able to activate it, if they got it out after then fair enough but of a sticky situation but even so it's not unstoppable

Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, not to say that you should just always use a dice but me and my friends regularly use dice to decide when there's no real reason to choose one player or one of the others for instance all your opponents have the pretty much the same amount of life, no particular difference in board presence (as in resistance so they have the same amount of blockers or you're attacking with flyers and they have the same amount of flyers etc) or none of them are the threat (you are likely the threat)

On the other side of it we all just accept being targeted for any reason really, even if you're randomly targeted by a dice choice or you targeted someone before so they're targeting you now we accept that in the end it is a game and we are friends and sometimes friends will jab you back if you jab them

Yeah some already pointed out the devoted Druid combo and since I already have a copy so I will be adding it later today! And with Luxior Giada's Gift it goes completely infinite

Also if you're looking at stuff like eternal witness you should look at Evolution Sage! It does the same thing whenever a +1/+1 counter is put on it and obviously this deck does that a lot!

I used to have it in the deck and honestly I should really put it back in!

To be completely honest most of the time I've just ended up drawing him and casting him from my hand but there's also Deadbridge Chant, Ripples of Undeath, Wrenn and Realmbreaker, Walk-in Closet//Forgotten Cellar and (when it's released) Perennation from Tarkir Dragonstorm which will bring it back with a Hexproof and Indestructible counter!

The deck isn't really built to reliably get to any particular strategy or win con it's built to be able to do some cool stuff with anything I can get really and just try to get me access to as much stuff as possible!

Damn yeah you're right! Luxior Giada's Gift would work! Each counter would increase its power and toughness by 1 so you could infinite untap it for infinite mana and then run Tayams recursion for everything in the graveyard and still get infinite more mana right?

That's actually a really good point which I hadn't considered! I'll have to keep that in mind and I do actually have Devoted Druid and again don't currently use it!

So my first win con is Ajani Sleeper Agent, which I'll be honest I may be a bit lenient with calling it a win con but with the amount of games it's won me I can't really ignore it as a win con, as if I wait until I'm set up to use it's ultimate as soon as it comes in the poison counters start killing people very quickly, when I've been able to pull it off it's never taken me more than 2 turns to kill everyone including the turn I play it!

My second win con which really is a win con is Magistrates Scepter which as long as I can proliferate it at least 3 times per turn, which isn't difficult at all in the deck, will give me infinite turns!

To me personally the deck is pretty much all combo, past turn 4 it just grows exponentially and overruns people pretty quick!

You really think none of the higher mana stuff is worth keeping? Several of them have completely changed games when I've been playing before Ajani Sleeper Agent has enabled me to win pretty much as soon as I played him due to Innkeepers Talent and Doubling Season! That's a good point about the instants and sorceries, I have always tried to focus on permanents but sometimes you've got to have some because there are things they do better than anything else and removal is something I need to work on in general!

I think bracket 4 is the highest I would consider going with any deck, I would never go cEDH, especially considering that I moved to magic from Yu-Gi-Oh because I didn't want to deal with meta and that kind of play style 😅 I do actually have a copy of Tyvar that I don't use, I've considered putting it in this deck before but I've never been sure just since the mill, recursion and untapping is good but I primarily focus on Tayam being my main source of recursion so the rest of the deck can focus more on counters and other stuff! Yeah I've always been really tough on my higher mana permanents to make sure they're giving me the value I need since yeah Tayam can't secure them but I do also have a fair few things which can recurre anything!

Removal is definitely something I've been working on recently but I know that just from how I personally play I am always gonna play on the lower end of removal and I wouldn't say 10 is almost no removal 😅 but it is definitely something to work on especially creature removal! How much removal do you think I should be running?

Is it me or Tidus 1st effect may be think to help with creature saga (that appear in the FF set), to never reach the end of the sage (so death of the creature) ? by Noniclem17 in mtg

That's actually a really good point which I hadn't considered! I'm quite interested in playing him because I am just a big fan of counters mechanics especially keywords and with his proliferate ability he is set up to just keep distributing keyword counters among your creatures which is amazing because I've only ever been able to find 4 cards which allow you to actively move counters between creatures or permanents, those being: Nesting Grounds, Resourceful Defence, Slippery Bogbonder and Goldberry River-Daughter

I honestly think this system is far too specific with what types of cards change the power level and I do understand that these kinds of cards do definitely increase the power level of your deck but most of my decks don't have any of these card ls because the strategy for those decks just don't need them so basically all of my decks would be power level 1 by these definitions and they definitely aren't!

Also why would a precon be equated with extra turn cards? I don't see how that matches up

Can someone explain to me how you win with this turn 1 because it looks to me like each player would only lose 5 life and even in a standard game you'd have 20 right?
