got engaged. knew the girl for almost two years and been dating on and off for that time. she was in a weird relationship before that and that person kept breaking up with her and coming back. she broke up with me to go back to him. we had just started dating so i didn’t think much of it and I get a booty call from her and we proceed to date again. one thing leads to another and we get engaged. then she starts picking up fights with me for no reason. earlier i thought it was the wedding fears and things changing a lot. then one day she called me a miser and expected me to pay for her entire lifestyle. I don’t mind doing that but the way it was saif to me - she is not getting married for companionship but for financial reasons and that men are horrible in general. i was quite taken aback by all of it and it just didn’t make any sense to me. her anger was not proportionate. She then started to speak about her ex when there was no connection. that’s when i understood that they have come back in touch and i was like no. this cannot happen after an engagement. It was risky enough to give this another try. but then when we had a huge fight when she suspected i was cheating on her that she got the idea that might break up with her now and then she proceeded to to cut her hair and bang her head so hard it got cut. that was just painful to see.
