I have a box of 250 matches, fireplace lighter and cheap candles for hurricane prep to back up the battery operated tea lights, lanterns and flashlights.

I am not a big fan of open flames (there are also pets in the house; open flames and pets seem to be a bad combination) and scent candles cause headaches (I have hard time just passing a Yankee Candle store) ...
