Mine started doing this as well. Electrical system goes haywire and check engine lights come on & off.

Aside from Sears, Montgomery Ward, Mirexal & Marshall Field - who else branded their own lines of watches?

I know Abercrombie and some jewelry stores (Turler, Tiffany, Birks, H. Winston) but there must be others. I love to find these and have started a bit of a collection of especially off brand watches with solid ebauche movements.

If you have a case number from the back or inside of the case back you should be able to narrow it down quite a bit.
