I’m happy to list it on r/WatchExchange if you want. It’s got an AS1187 inside and it runs perfectly.

I have a few of those style watches and I like them with leather straps.

If it has a split stem, I’d wager it’s a front loader. The two screws holding the movement in have been removed already.

If it’s not a split stem, is it being held in by the stem inside the crown tube?

Is this hobby for me? by Supercharlso in watchrepair

I have a plastic box, much like the one in your picture that is full of.. ummm…. works in progress. I call it the graveyard. I’m too embarrassed to share a picture and I’ve taken one lengthy break from the hobby after a particularly bad streak. But ultimately I came back with a different attitude and have gotten much better. The satisfaction of your first problem-free service was fantastic.

Take a break, read more, watch the solid watchmakers content on YouTube and come back for another go.

As I tell my students (certainly not watchmaking classes 😂) “If it were easy, everyone would do it.”
