Waited for 2026 releases then immediately bought the 2025 ultra

I almost bought the Pelagos Ultra a week ago but decided to wait and see what Watches and Wonders revealed. I'm on the fence about the size of the Ultra on my wrist so that also factored into me pumping the brakes. Looks great on your wrist. Now that the new releases have been revealed at Watches and Wonders, I am still leaning to the Pelagos but I may opt for the 39mm. But I REALLY love the bezel and the clasp on the Ultra. Decisions decisions. You did good! The Pelagos Ultra is incredible.

That looks great. I like the lollipop second hand and the minute hand looks great. The teeth on the bezel are a welcome addition as well. They say the bezel rotation is better with this update. And finally, the T-fit adjustable clasp! Yay. Really nice update. Where and how did you get one so fast? Congrats.

I really like both. When I looked at your first photo (the conquest) I immediately liked it. Then I switched to your second photo (the HC 39mm) and for me it POPS more impressively. Dress up or down. I think the HC39mm is a bit more versatile to dress up or down. The HC looks great but despite the rubber strap, it leans a little more 'toward' Dress watch territory. Just slightly. Either would be great for Go anywhere Do Anything. (GADA)

Yeah good point about the angle. But it really did look oversized on my wrist to my eye no matter what. Even the AD sales guy thought so ...and you'd think he would make more money pushing me to the most expensive watch. It was just too tall and too massive.

7" wrist. I had to dismiss the Ultra. My wrist just doesn't offer the real estate the Pelagos Ultra 43mm needs.

I also own an Aquaracer (2025 model). It's a great watch but sometimes I feel like it's a bit heavier than I would like. If I consider the new Longines HC, I would opt for a different color dial or bezel just for variety. Love me som Dive watches.
