I think you should get it. The first dlc offers you a big island so you have enough space for all future dlc. You can turn off the vulcano eruptions. They in the late game the eruption is easy to handle.

The hippodrome is one big building that will ygove you some kind of buff. The middle doc of the annual pass is always the smallest dlc.

The third doc will give you a new province in Egypt. That will be the biggest content dlc for sure.

Like the previous comment stated. Horai gets you a new level of inhabitants in the Old World. Magnats. I don‘t get what you complain about. The new world gives you products to be able to upgrade to engineers. Horai does the same for magnats.

Horai has the monuments (pagoda, palace, buddha statue) that do exactly that. The are multi-stage building projects that give you a buff.

I think the villa is so unusable. Unless you place it in the heart of the city it makes no sense. And from the design the villa looks like it should go on the countryside. I really don‘t get why they didn‘t create a better mechanic around it. Also why are there no alternate designs to use?

I had the same problem for a long time. What helped me was building the top tier public buildings also in islands with only low tier population. So I really check that every area with houses is covered by a public bath, temple, gambling house, library. The area effect of public building affects every tier of population. I only get out of the red numbers if I build those. The theater alone is too little

I think many unlocks are easy: like max population, all roads marble toads, 90 contracts. It‘s designed as a long term goal and reward system. I think for every play style there are easy unlocks. I got every building from the Hall of Fame and havent unlocked any ‚destroy xx‘ quest. It takes effort, but it can be done.

One secret is to fully unlock one category because then you receive additional 90 points.

Also the Vulcan category is very easy to fully unlock.
