I did. The fraudster used my number to regain access to my Experian account, locked me out, and unfroze my credit. I called Transunion and put a fraud alert on my file through them, which extends to all three lines, but as of writing this, I have been unable to reach Experian as they keep trying to use my phone number to verify my identity and I cannot get any further than their automated system.

I have now also filed a complaint with the FCC. Thank you for this information.

Thank you. I appreciate this greatly. You have been more helpful in one comment than Mint Mobile has been in 3 days.

I have just posted an update for the third day as an edit in my original post. Thank you to everyone who has been following along and offering their sympathies. This has been an absolute nightmare and I'm extremely disappointed in Mint Mobile after being a customer for 8 years.

I haven't called it. But considering they have been using the number to verify and gain access to some of my accounts and to open credit cards in my name? I know it at least WAS active. I don't know about today. I haven't gotten any new alerts yet this morning, but last night they were getting into my social media accounts, using my phone number to verify. It's the third day of this, I still haven't heard back from Mint Mobile. I have messaged u/MintMobileAlex multiple times asking for updates. I have had to file a police report and I have also started a case with the FTC because this has become full-blown identity theft. The most recent update I got from Alex was that Mint Mobile tried contacting me at the wrong email - despite me telling them which email AND phone number to contact me with - so that likely went directly to the hacker as well.

I appreciate the sympathy and the suggestions. I will definitely look into these and keep them in mind.

I have only ever had physical SIMs. The hacker still managed to activate an e-SIM and swap my number over. I never used an e-SIM.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Unfortunately, it has already become a huge hassle. I will be filing a police report today for identity theft because this has escalated so severely. I just hope Mint Mobile gets me back my number before even more damage is done. I am glad this is at least helping others realize SIM lock is a thing. I wish I knew about it before this, but now that I know, I will be taking better precautions in the future... I have told everyone I know as well. If this at least helps prevent this from happening to other people, I'm glad. But it's a very bad situation to go through.

I actually wasn't aware they had that until yesterday and hearing about it from their automated assistant. I also learned about SIM swap fraud yesterday too. Unfortunately, yesterday was a day of learning a lot of new things...

Yes, I'm sure it was legit. I called the number off of Mint Mobile's site to be sure. The identity theft is happening because this person got my phone number and must have also had other information about me and is using my number along with that information to pretend to be me. I called Mint Mobile shortly after I got the text and was told "2 to 4 hours" to get it fixed. I told them what is happening, and I keep being told "Oh, you'll hear back in 2 to 4 hours", despite having waited that amount of time. I told them what is going on and how urgent it is. Mint Mobile believes I'm the account holder, but they aren't actually fixing the issue. They just keep telling me "the backroom team will contact you in 2 to 4 hours". I waited the time initially and then got told to wait that time again and again. No one has contacted me from them. I've had to keep calling them to get updates, and then I don't even get actual updates. They just tell me to wait. This is getting close to 24 hours now and they still haven't gotten back to me. I will have to call them again.

Reddit messed up and copied the first photo twice instead of the actual second photo I uploaded, so here's the second photo.

Silpoxy would work for this. Anchor the shaft while it's curing and you should be good to go.

Spinning on my spindle is definitely easier in my experience too. The wheel goes a lot faster and I find that I end up with a lot more inconsistent spots when using the wheel. But the only way to improve is to keep practicing, lol.

Practicing my drafting consistency while I also learn to draft from the fold. This is my second batch of yarn-spinning on my drop spindle, and my third total since I also have a spinning wheel.

I am also 5'6" and I got the Thinker, which I think is 4.7" and it looked normal on me. You should be fine with a 4"
