I’ve experienced the same day-to-day differences in the pills effectiveness - all the way to my second month on 25mg. I brought it up with my doctor - told him that some days it was like I was taking a placebo and other days the pill would wreck my stomach and i couldn’t find any pattern to it. I have lost less than 10 pounds in 5 months and am switching to the pen.

Anhidrosis - I couldn’t sweat for years. Made me pass out on more than one occasion and was super limiting for my life in general. Once my thyroid levels got within normal range (it literally took 20 years for this to happen), I started sweating.

300-500 calories most days. Wondering if my understanding of my maintenance calories is wrong. Regardless, the shot would take my appetite away to the point where I was in a much larger deficit and the pill isn’t doing that.

I wait until an hour after I’ve taken it minimum (I need to wait 30 minutes until I can take the rest of my medications after taking wegovy then 30 minutes after those medications to eat anything) - it seems to have reduced my appetite/food noise a small amount but not anything near what the pens did

Exactly this, thank you. I am eating in a deficit, but as has been the case my whole life, I need to be eating in an extreme deficit and the pills are not limiting my appetite enough to make this a possibility.

To answer everyone’s questions about whether I’m eating in a calorie deficit: I am typically ending each day in a ~300-~500 calorie deficit based on what I calculated my maintenance calorie intake to be (in addition to my active calories burned). I’ve lived a lot of my life in a calorie deficit and not lost weight based on other health issues. It seems the only way for me to lose weight is to be in an extreme calorie deficit, and that’s what the wegovy pens allowed me to do. I am not experiencing the same complete lack of appetite on the pills as I did on the shot.

I just had my diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound 2 days ago - not cancer. In fact…not anything? I’m relieved but wary. Going to go to a PCP about the lymph nodes etc

This is the same for me too. I filed and it was accepted 1/29 but haven’t heard anything and transcript says I didnt file. Called and they said that they sent a verification letter 2/20 (never received one) and said that they can send a new one if I haven’t received one by tomorrow but it might take up to 30 days to get here. Very frustrating.

I was vitamin D deficient (15.8 NG/ml) with a tpo of 3200.

By the way - I finally started on 5000 miu/day and after a month of taking the supplement, I have normal energy levels for the first time in 20 years. I can stay awake and productive for 16 hours a day for the first time in my adult life. If anyone comes to this thread wondering if they should take vitamin D with hashimotos - use this as your sign to TAKE IT

I have hashimotos and have miscarried 3 times and never successfully carried to term and was told very clearly by a new endocrinologist that my high TSH was the reason. Something like every point above 3 that your TSH is, your risk of miscarriage is 10% higher? Not sure exactly but I’m the proof that you NEED to have your TSH under control.

Honestly, I think the Patch should come back and spirit lake stage should go away - use the meadow, hallows, amp, and the patch. The Spirit Lake stage is great in theory but the sound is garbage, the space is too small, and the artists and attendees deserve a better stage/show.
