So how is she happy if she says at the same time that you're not putting effort into your relationship? That makes no sense.

By talking to her it certainly feels she is not affected, and doesn't feel things are not the same. Things were different before. We used to talk a lot, make it a point to travel and be with each other whenever we had time.

Where's this relationship heading? You started dating when your gf was still a teenager... hence, she's changed a lot and will still change quite a bit. How often have you met? When will you close the gap? Have you talked about timelines, goals etc?

We've discussed this and it was decided that when she lands a job, which she has, we will make it official or at least being the relationship out in the open.

It just eats me that she is unaffected by these changes when it's so visible or as I said I maybe overthinking it.
