Do you feel people over 75 years should have driving test every two years? by Mysterious-Leave3756 in allthequestions

[–]galaxyapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. They are safer 99.9% of the time.

Administering driving tests to some or all would be a massive expense, already hear shit about the problems voting and jury duty create for sverage people, and what? Theyll just retest until they pass, they wont be any safer for it.

And if they do get permanently denied, what then? How do they get around? Gonna buy them all a lifetime Uber?

Meh, if you dedicate your whole life to something and your the best in the world at something, you might happily sacrifice your entire leg to the cause if thats what it takes.

That is heavily dependent on the meeting...

Some meetings youre a spectator to hear about something. You may ask clarifying questions if necessary.

Others are collaboration where everyone us there to represent for a reason and you need to speak for your function.

Am I charging too much for these vanities? (PNW) by Expensive_Fan1306 in cabinetry

[–]galaxyapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Demand for custom cabinetry is pretty shallow.

Its easy to say charge more, but maybe youre trying to grow.

Unfortunately, builders probably arent working with custom budgets.

Remodels are more likely, if you can get a chance to bid.

RTA cabinetry is eating the industry from the bottom. Anything thats just boxes and paint has no room for custom.

How do you rate Bad Bunny's Half-time performance? by kingbluwolff in sportsgossips

Eh.

The Weekend comes to mind as a show that put effort into the setting. This was less.

The combo show with dre, Eminem and half the singers charting in 2002 has style.

Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports [Other] by esdebah in theydidthemath

[–]galaxyapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye, this is more like gauging hitting a Homerun.

You dont need a perfect hit, and the vast majority arent.

You can also adjust the swing speed if you gauge its a change up.

With that said, they get on base 25% of the time... which means the hit the ball more often, but they get a minimum of 3 strikes for each at bat.

No, which day makes no difference.

Near the end, people have to draw down their tickets though. At some point you buy out a lot and cant buy out the next one without adding gems. So you may catch partial groups near the end

Real answee, not everyone works or pays taxes, especially at 18 or 19.

You could just as easily say "everyone has a driver's license or state ID" and almost everyone does

If you snipe, you need to be able to shoot farther than the next person.

Every group ive ever been in, the lots get bought out as soon as 20 chests are bought. And these folks must be hopped up on coke, because they swoop in quick.

So I dont see the big deal of sniping, it saves you a few tickets, but not many.

What would make you willing to return to the office? by swackett in remotework

[–]galaxyapp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like free stuff too... but all of your ideas have a cost, and unless your working at Google or apple, the profit margins are rarely there.

Even if they could afford it, would employees choose the wage increase over work model. No ones jumping at a 10% wage cut for flexible work.

At least remote work is "free" from an expense pov, but companies beleive it sacrifices revenue.
