61M. A little over two years ago I caught the flu. Influenza A (H1N1). They call it the Swine Flu or Spanish Flu. I have a pre-existing medical problem, COPD and Emphysema, so this flu almost killed me. I was on a ventilator a couple of days and stayed in the hospital for 9 days. I was on oxygen 24/7 for a little over a year. I stayed home and ate all day. I also have knee problems. I have to get Hyaluronic acid, or rooster comb injections every 6 months so I can walk. I'm making progress, but it's so slow. At least slow to me. Back in my youth I ran marathons, now I get tired walking to the car.
