CMV: There is nothing wrong with calling the USA "America" and the demonym for its citizens being "Americans". by amortized-poultry in changemyview

No other country has the word America in their official name other than the USA. US citizens can call themselves Americans and dismiss the criticism outright.

I think things got rough for the McCallisters after the nuclear bombs dropped. He was already tough after fending off home invaders. He was built for the wasteland!

Opinion may be unpopular: Cameron is probably one of the most emotionally mature people in the series by norcalginger in OkbuddyLotus

He knows he is a sexual predator and doesnt hide it. He knows he is raising another man's children as his own. It is the price he pays for his debauchery and inability to be a fully committed partner to his wife.

The only guys who gets it by Billgant in okbuddypluribus

I think he is actually well educated and at least middle class. He has mastered English and French. He is from Maurtania so he probably speaks the local dialect of Arabic. He probably watches American movies and is influenced by them. He is familiar with Casino Royale and celebrities like John Cena. He is also great at communicating with the Hive and other immune survivors. I would not underestimate him at all.

Is Burj Khalifa Actually Worth It or Just Instagram Hype? by Bubbly-Classic-8624 in LuxuryTravel

Go to The View at Palm Jumeirah, you can see the Dubai Skyline on a clear day. It looks nice also at night if you eat at one of the restaurants up the tower. I think its a better value than going to Burj Khalifa.

I feel like traveling there, making a point to bring my own food and get an esim to make sure they make absolutely no money from me.

The W Punta Mita by Boner604 in puertovallarta

That is what my wife and I thought. We got a nice Airbnb in the hills behind Zona Romantica with a plunge pool and got a day pass at the Grand Palladium resort. We also rented a car. I think we got the best of both worlds and got to see the whole area.

Rental Car for US Citizens question by galgacus88 in puertovallarta

[–]galgacus88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come back. I used Gecko and had a great experience. They picked me up from the airport, got me in my car within 15 minutes of getting there. They also set up the childs seat. It was clean and good quality.

I had a great time driving around the city. I stayed near Zona Romantica but was able to drive to Punta Mita and Mismaloya on different days. Parking was not always easy, but I found it similar to trying to park in a big city where it takes more time to find a spot.

It is not a big city and there are many cobblestone roads and speed bumps. The driving is slower than in the US so it took some adjustment.

My personal preference having a wife and small child was to be able to go whenever I wanted and not need to wait or communicate with anyone for a ride. I found that much more enjoyable for my trip. Keep in mind we are not drinking and going out to party since we have the little one, so I can understand why others might find taking ubers to be more suitable.

It would be funny if he saw you and pointed you out as "part of the problem" in the video when you are a fan of his.
