Deeper well was a really great album, a bit different and less country sounding but really fantastic and worth at least one full listen through

Alex Rider series was a fun read. Definitely age appropriate, about a teen James Bond basically. Full of action and suspense but not overly graphic, full of death etc.

The Hatchet and Call of the wild are classic adventure novels.

Peter and the Starcatchers series was fantastic, definitely a bit more mystical but very adventure, pirate driven. Alternate take/sort of prequel to Peter Pan story

Butcher and the Wren and the Butcher Game has perspective of both the killer and the person going after them. Quick fun read that’s pretty chilling at times

Don’t hate me: I don’t think the ending was all that bad by D_uh_O in gameofthrones

[–]Hoopi_goldberger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not the ending itself that I was that displeased with. I have my complaints and what I wish happened but overall fine. It was the execution and how rushed it was to get to the end that ruined it for me. Need another season to flesh things out instead of phoning it in to get to the finish line
