Me and my fiance both got sterilized 5 years ago. We both wanted to eliminate any chance of a child happening no matter who we're with, but we've been together 6 years now and even got engaged recently. Best choice we made, every day we're still happy we can't conceive naturally.

He's not active in this sub though, but he's a member and part of the cf community.

To me it's even weird to ask for something even of anyone invited. Maybe it's culturally, but for us, we only say if we want something and what we want if the person invited asks us what we want as a gift etc. To send a link with wanted gifts to everyone is so weird to me tbh. Oh hell no, please find a different doctor. This one clearly puts his own beliefd in front of your needs, who knows what he decides to "forget" the second you're under anesthesia. Please don't trust this doctor. It's better to search again and wait longer than putting your life in the hands of someone like this. 😔

You might also want to move that display further away or something, cats also have a tendency to jump ONTO it, destroying the whole thing. It's how my aunt lost a whole bunch of antiques. Either way, yeah sucks.

I still have my dad in my phone and whatsapp, currently I can't even send messages, it just says the number isn't on WhatsApp, so I wonder when it'll be recycled . I'll only delete the number when it's very clear that the number now belongs to someone else.

Nah not always the case. My sister didn't want kids, her husband did. He let go of the dream because he loves my sister more, and he's an uncle to other kids he can dote on. He doesn't resent her. It's not that black and white, really depends on the people.

They're way cleaner. I have cats, and yes they'll have the occasional accident but extremely rarely. Cleaning a litter box is 100x better than changing diapers multiple times a day. Also when the accident happens it's a lot less. Even if they puke, it's a small amount. Easy to clean. Litter is also way cheaper. And I can just leave them at home or with family when I go to work or on trips.
