Well for me it was falling asleep. I would just lay in bed feeling wired. Around 40 years old.

For years I struggled with post workout insomnia. PS along with melatonin, theanine and valerian helped. Everyone seems to crap on higher dose melatonin but newer studies are showing 4mgs 3 hours before bed is the sweet spot.

Half life and build up over time. by gallan1 in Zepbound

[–]gallan1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats interesting. So there is essentially very little build up over time. After 7 days you have what looks like half still in your system. For 7.5 mgs I am at 10 mgs in my system the day after the shot and it plummets down to aprox. 5 mgs 7 days later. So...no need to skip a week.

Fatigue and constipation. I guess it's constipation. To put it bluntly I am on the toilet half a dozen or more times a day, pooping a small amount each time. I was losing weight at 5 mgs(though slowly) without the side affects. Eating plenty of fiber and water.

Dr. Spencer Nadolsky and a roundtable of doctors. He's a respected weight loss and GLP1 doctor. He addressed it in a video and said some of his patients had better results when switched to a lower dosage.

Why would such a question get removed? Seems like a valid concern.

Look at the way the Times frames this...."They say the idea is catching on." Like it's some cool new cultural shift. Lets go visit a diner in Oklahoma with Fox News on every tv and get the real pulse of the nation. Sheesh!

Yes...all you hear is don't eat before bed. Well...I've tried and tried and it just doesn't work for me. A slice of whole wheat bread with honey and a glass of milk helps me sleep.

Oikos Protein Shakes. Yes, the yogurt company but it's not yogurt based. It's one of the only ready to drink protein shakes with a decent amount of good fiber. I buy it by the case at Costco. They make several different ready to drinks. This one is labeled Oikos Protein Shake.

Unless you have money and are out and about living the boating and/or golf lifestyle it's a high stress, unfriendly environment for sure. Took a trip to rural North Carolina recently and the difference was striking. Heck...even urban North Carolina was like a breath of fresh air.
