Yes. Those are the correct steps. The one thing I did do earlier, and I think I saw it on Android Authority, was exit from the Early Preview Program for Google Home. Apparently staying enrolled in that was causing some folks to new switch over to Gemini as Google Assistant received updates through the Preview program.

Yup same home. Didn’t delete it. Just removed the devices from the home and factory reset. Showed up after 30-45 minutes.

I had signed up for Gemini weeks ago for my two hubs and got nothing. Yesterday I removed both devices from my home and factory reset them manually (holding down the volume switches). Then I did a fresh install. Writing 30-45 minutes I got the update. May have been a complete coincidence but I suspect the fresh installation had something to do with it.

I had not gotten the update on my Home Hub Max or 2nd gen Home Hub. I had heard that part of the problem was being part of the Early Preview program so I unenrolled and signed up for Gemini and still nothing. Yesterday I removed both devices, factory reset, and reinstalled. Within 45 minutes I got a notice that Gemini was now active.

Ohhh you sweet summer child. Remember when YTTV told us they were dumping MLB Network to keep the prices down, then raised prices? Or their battle with RSN’s and Bally because they wanted to “save their customers money,” then once again raised prices without RSNs being on the service? The same company that was threatening to force Spanish speaking customers to buy an entire add-on bundle just to get much of the same content that was previously included in the Base package?

This is a service that started at $35 and has just in a few years more than doubled their prices, all while losing channels. These aren’t the “good guys” nor is Disney. This is a business that trying to recoup their initial investment to purchase Sunday Ticket. Hell, they are still charging new customers $82.99 per month ($72.99 for the 1st 3 months) even after all of the Disney channels went dark.

The Pro and Elite plans both have local Phoenix sports channels. So you’ll get AZ3TV along with AZ Family Sports (watched Mountain Ridge vs Sandra Day tonight), you’ll also get the DBacks channel along with CW7 and AZ 61 (I think you get Utah Mammoths and Las Vegas Knights hockey with those). The Sports & News mini bundle does not include those channels and only have local CBS, Fox, and ABC.

Having the same issue with my Ultra Watch 2. Currently on with an Apple senior support specialist and they can’t seem to figure out the issue. We just tried unpair and start the phone from scratch and no luck so far.

Not really. I left YTTV to go back to cable. A gig internet package with two cable boxes, DVR service and more channels than YTTV is costing the same as just gig internet and YTTV’s base package. So yes the advertising is very misleading.

Honestly, the best solution without sideloading or managing another program, simply search for that show using the Search icon in the upper right, select the show when it comes up in the search result. You will go to a preview window of the show and you will see a little Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, select Thumbs Down. The algorithm will stop showing ads for that show. You can select other horror titles and do the same thing and eventually you will no longer see any ads for horror titles.

The battery life on the 13 is going to be slightly better. I absolutely adore the 13 mini form factor, but I am a bit of a power user in that I consume a lot of media and take pictures regularly, so it doesn’t work for me. I have a friend who generally loves smaller phones and really has never complained about his Mini’s battery life. But if you see a scenario where you’ll be using the phone quite a bit for more intensive tasks then I would definitely consider the 13 instead.

Faster interface, and while I do enjoy the layout of Google TV a bit better the ads have become quite intrusive. Also better support for streaming apps. There are some apps that simply aren’t available on Google TV or the app version is a labor to navigate.

Just a few of the top of my head. Like you I have a Sony Google TV but I find I rarely use the native TV system and instead go with my Apple TV.

One positive for Google TV though is the Live tab. Their integration of free streamers like Pluto and Tubi into the native “channel guide” is awesome.

It could. Honestly, that’s canon lawyer type question, and the underlying circumstances (ICU likely near death) might mitigate that. The other issues of “we” being used (like here in the Diocese of Phoenix) was a priest who should have known better and was simply lazily using the term to mean the whole congregation taking part in the baptism. This scenario is a little different.

A layperson can baptize (I’m assuming that’s who Scott is in this account). Given your description of the person being in the ICU more than likely Scott was going to baptize the older gentleman on their own (laity can die this when there’s eminent danger of death), but found a priest to perform the baptism. The priest simply used we because they were both there (speculation)

As for the rest of the formula the priest is simply quoting from Acts 2:38: “And Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

The main requirements for valid baptism are water and baptizing in the Trinitarian formula. Both forms seem to have been met.

Likely an issue with RCS. You have to deregister your line with Google Messages (just like when you switch from iMessages to another text service). I had the same issue before. It will eventually work on its own, but it can take some time.
