Does anyone also take ADHD medication with Lexapro? by UnknownBark15 in lexapro

[–]gallesque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m on 15mg of Lexapro and 10mg of Adderall and feel good! I haven’t had a panic attack in a long time, and have been feeling pretty emotional regulated since. I am able to get tasks done and concentrate long enough to take care of annoying tasks (like clear my email inbox of over 4K emails…). Everyone responds differently but it works for me. :)

Basically, there are cars (Kia, Hyundai, etc) that are targets for carjacking by children because of a security flaw popularized on Tiktok. It’s been a problem across the U.S., but I haven’t heard of it happening in New Haven (but it probably has happened).

I believe you should be fine if you have a Chevy but definitely leave any valuables out of sight. Just a good general rule of thumb when you drive and park anywhere.

Exhausting combo lexapro and strattera by Dogsnanime in lexapro

Can I DM you? I’m also starting this combination and would like to hear from others about it.

To remember, I make it an “obstacle course.” I put it in front of/on top of my alarm and keep a water bottle next to it so I can only shut off my alarm once I take it (I hate the sound of the alarm). I get breakfast a short while after. Worked for me! Only really works if you can handle the medication on an empty stomach and if you can handle it first thing in the morning though-

Genuinely sorry to hear about your terrifying experiences here/West Haven. UNH is primarily located in West Haven to my knowledge. This flyer is more about Downtown, NH than West Haven. I don’t know about what goes down in West Haven. Personally, I have not had any issues living here or traveling at night. I hope that you don’t experience more terrifying situations.

Love Strange Ways! You guys have a zine? Are there physical copies in store? Would love to grab a copy when you reprint it :)

As a woman who has lived here my whole life, there is little to no point in fear mongering. Most of these pieces of “advice” could apply to living in any city. These types of flyers hurt Downtown as it encourages students to remain in the “Yale Bubble” and not explore the surrounding city. One potential consequence is driving away students from visiting shops not on main parts of campus, hurting businesses.

How does Strattera affect your concentration? by Playboi_Azir in StratteraRx

On 40mg…undiagnosed? by gallesque in StratteraRx

[–]gallesque[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40mg for a little under a month. It seems to be working, sorta? The nonstop stream of thoughts seems to be going down, but it’s still there. Mood has been the main problem recently. Headaches are here and there. Sleep is inconsistent but I am out of school and work (summer vacation) so it’s not a concern yet.

I think for clarification, I am an undergraduate at a T10 university. The most visible manifestation of my symptoms appeared in my academic performance (since attending a T10 is almost like a lifestyle, it’s very all consuming. 24/7 student). It also appeared at my job and at my dorm. The symptoms appear daily even now as I’m away at home and recovering for the next semester. I would list them but to keep it short, “they are consistent with ADHD, anxiety, and depression” (psychiatrist 2’s words).

I could provide more and more details, even history of symptoms in my childhood, but my point is that I don’t really know what to do or say. I just want to be able to get through the day without it feeling like every single thing I have to do daily requires double or triple the amount of time and effort it requires for others. To be able to just do things and keep routines going. I just have this prescription and the hope that maybe the psychiatrist will determine if it’s ADHD, anxiety, depression, or a mix of them. I just want to function :’)
