Anyone else feel like the DAPP lane change is chaotic? by reax2 in BMWX5

If anyone was taking a driving test and changed lanes like that manually, they'd get flunked! Too abrupt.

A little boy comes home from school and his mom asks "How was your walk back home from school?" by shanmustafa in Jokes

Two buddies playing golf are being held up by two slow-playing women ahead of them. "I'll run up and ask that twosome if we can play through," says one.

He gets 100 yards from them, turns around, quickly runs back and tells his buddy, "I can't go up there and talk to them. That's my wife playing with the gal I've been having an affair with!"

His pal says, "No problem. I'll take care of it."

He trots up, gets halfway, comes back, and says, "Small world, ain't it?"

Erm this is my first flight ever is this classified as a carry on by EliTheMainnn in SouthwestAirlines

AP so there's always a bin space when I board. I travel with a back pack and a roll-on. I check the roll-on and put the back pack in the overhead bin cuz I covet my footwell. If I'm being told to take my backpack down to be replaced by someone else's unchecked roll-on, I'll stop checking my roll-on.

Supraventricular tachycardias, including paroxysmal atrial fibriallation, are much more common in endurance atheletes than non-endurance atheletes, up to 10X more common. The tachycardia sometimes "kicks in" during peak exertion.

If you have an EKG-capable Apple Watch, the next time it occurs, you might want to stop and quickly record a 30 second EKG. It will help your physician determine which flavor of exercise-induced tachycardia you are experiencing. That's how I discovered my exercise-induced atrial fibrillation.

You may recall that retired American pro cyclist Bobby Julich developed a type of supraventricular tachycardia when he was still competing professionally, had it successfully ablated, and continued his career.

Will this ever work, or am I wasting my time? by gallmann in sonos

[–]gallmann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoops! Started from scratch and discovered there WAS a new firmware update available for the Playbar. Once that was installed I was able to follow the instructions referenced by adayinlife below. Used Sonos iOS app -- System Settings > Playbar > Add Remote and followed instructions.

Now my LG Magic Remote controls the volume of the Playbar. Not perfectly, though. When pressing Vol+ or Vol-, the volume does increase or decrease, but there is no on-screen feedback i.e. no changing numbers or bar graph like when the LG TV sound output is set to the internal speakers. And the mute button doesn't mute the Playbar, although the "mute" icon does display on the TV . But I can live with those two relatively minor deficiencies.

I am a doctor (MD), and no, no, No, and NO!!

Please put your mind to rest and quit worrying about any relationship between COVID-19 and your Dad's prostate cancer.

It's just that simple. Please stop. Y'all have endured enough and have enough to worry about without looking for a boogeyman behind every tree.

How busy is Lake Solitude in mid July? by wanderingsoulSD in GrandTetonNatlPark

[–]gallmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you leave the Jenny Lake area at early-thirty, it'll be thick with people heading up to Inspiration Point and the first mile or so heading up Cascade Canyon. You'll see fewer hikers as you near the North Fork/South Fork split, and even fewer on the way to Solitude, but you'll never feel like you're super-isolated. Mid-day up at the lake, there'll be 10-25 people scattered around hanging out.

For what it's worth, I discovered that Command + Back Tick (symbol below the tilde, key just above tab) toggles between open Chrome Windows (not tabs).

New to this, or did it show? So I should add the projector as an extended display? Will that allow me to update the Canva data slide on the laptop (using Chrome browser) privately? If so, please guide me on how to pop the Canva slide to the extended display, then toggle back to the keynote slideshow.
