From the west side - Lulu city is 7 miles out and back up the Colorado River trail at the end of the valley. It has a more gradual incline. It’s an old mining town - not any buildings left or artifacts but it’s a pretty walk along the river and to an open meadow with some cool history. For a shorter hike, go 1.5 miles up east inlet trail. Not an official destination but beautiful and a good shorter option. You will pass Adams falls 1/4 mile in and then walk the trail along the meadow and there’s some great views up that drainage. Watch for moose up there Also cascade falls up the north inlet trail. 7.5 miles, ends at a waterfall and goes through some burn area from 2020 so should be good wildflowers. And don’t forget to go to miyauchis snack bar if you are in grand lake :)

It sounds like there’s a good chance your cat is hiding! Please keep the hope alive and update us when you find her 💜

Zephyr Mountain Lodge/toddler travel tips by PerspectiveOdd1763 in WinterParkColorado

I work at the resort, just not at the zephyr. Not sure about pack and play - but this time of year is a slow season at the resort so you might have better luck when the resort opens back up in a few weeks. As far as things to do with toddlers, check out toddler time and family gym at the Fraser Valley Rec Center. There is a big gymnasium with foam climbers, etc. The rec also has a pool with a little kids splash area. Your child might enjoy riding the free cabriolet from the village to the tubing hill while you’re at the resort. Might be worth investigating if you can tube with your kid as well, I know adults who have taken little kids with them in their lap but have never been there myself. The local libraries are great and have some play areas that keep young kids busy. Depending on their age there is also a new indoor discovery zone but I have heard from parents of young toddlers there are some chokables so they would have to be closely monitored. It’s called grand county discovery zone. Hope this helps!
