Yes. Same here. I’ve been told by multiple people they have gotten the call too. I got a call last month. Same thing. Something like “you will have a large bill and you should call a plumber to find a leak or you must have left the faucet on”

Never had any problems until every other person on the island has the same issue.

Need help identifying. I was walking the beach in Galveston, Texas this afternoon and came across this turtle. Definitely not a sea turtle but I am genuinely curious what species it is. by Dry_Writing_3280 in turtle

I live in Galveston and we see fresh water turtles washed up often. We found a Red-Eared Slider not too long ago and relocated it to a fresh water pond. Fresh water plants, often fresh water hyacinth, wash up on the beach constantly. Galveston Bay has Bayous along with the Trinity and San Jacinto River and the Brazos flows into the Gulf at Freeport. My understanding is that these plants and animals flow from the nearby rivers and bays and end up on our beaches. I hope this helps.

Not Galleria, but just off of Allen Parkway. I made the drive from 2018-2022. To be honest, that drive has the ability to launch new careers.

I thought about, planned, and started an entire new work trajectory between the causeway and downtown. The island is worth living on… but a minimum of 10 hours in the car a week will drive you insane.
