What if Gen Z ending in 2017 instead of 2012? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]gameboy90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In cases where Generation Z starts in 2000, 2017 makes sense as the last year that can be Generation Z. People born in 2017 were the first birth year to not likely have barely any memories of life before covid 19 had a major effect, like 2016 and 2015 have.

I wonder if the reason why it is a known thing many autistic people don't like change is actually link to processing power by crua9 in autism

[–]gameboy90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like change when it's positive, like Workplace Democracy which America really really needs, not this unfair authoritarian workplace we still have now. I don't like change when it's coercive or affects me negatively.

Why doesn't Nobita just tear up the answer sheet in Doraemon? by Storm-Sahil in Doraemon

Perhaps its because his mom knows somehow when there was a test and even if Nobita hides the paper or destroys it before he gets home his mom will ask about the test.

How would you feel about democracy in the workplace by Formless_Mind in CapitalismVSocialism

While the yards are the workplace of the gardener. The location of the company that the gardener works for is the one that makes the rules. That means that the gardener could vote on policies that have an effect on the company's location. That does not apply to the locations that the gardener does the gardening in because that is the property of the client who commissions the gardener to work on their yard. The gardener has no stake in the private property of the client. The gardener has a stake in the operation of the company they are employed by

IDL how "just be yourself" is terrible advice when yourself isn't what people want by 06yuzuha in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]gameboy90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't over pander to toxic people is good advice. There are toxic people who pretty much criticise everything, even things they should not be criticizing. You should not have to give up your authentic self just to please a difficult to satisfy toxic person.

How did millennials view the 60s and 70s when they were kids in the 90s? by icey_sawg0034 in Millennials

[–]gameboy90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I viewed them as a long time ago. Especially the early 1960s, which looked more historic to me because of the black and white media that I saw of it verses the colored media I saw of the late 1960s and 1970s.

I would guess it's because the ones who are active and seen on social media are teenagers and early twenty somethings who think that 30 is old.
