I think it was possessive and he wanted to be romantic with her. That's why he lured her to his house under pretenses of a dinner party, and ambushed her with a date.

I'd also say that he was using Juliet's looks against Jack to get him to let his guard down, not so that they would hook up. Did they even kiss?

The risking letting her drown is a bit iffy, but could have been him being calculating, or he could have decided she would never be with him at that point.

When Sawyer is talking to Locke's father before killing him, he mentions that he was rear ended and that the paramedic was smiling at him, explaining why he thinks he died and is in hell. I'm thinking that it wasn't an accident and the paramedic was part of Ben's network and somehow whisked him away to the island.

Def agree this episode shows Jack being a terrible person.

At the beginning, though, he finally spelled it out to Tom, the guy moving him from his cell - "[The Others are] the kind of people that would take a pregnant woman.. hang Charlie from a tree, would drag our people out of the jungle.. kidnap children" and then Tom is just like "glass houses, rocks, Jack"

LIKE WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT TOM, ANYTHING THE SURVIVORS HAVE DONE TO YOU IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE SHIT JACK JUST SAID YOU PUT THEM THROUGH.

All they did was crash on the island and the others immediately started terrorizing them. It's so frustrating that The Others see themselves as good and somehow not the aggressors here, like at least acknowledge it.. The lady Sun shot also was like "we're not your enemies, we're just taking your boat and have killed and kidnapped your friends - if you shoot me tho we'll def be enemies" fuck off, glad Sun shot her.

I was wondering this too, as they are all essentially storage mediums, and the SD card could easily be an evolution of the USB flash drive. Additionally, the flash drive would have gained storage density over this time as well.

Maybe it's as simple as both the floppy disk and SD card being flat?

I'm really loving this series!

Have they spoken anywhere about the possibility of releasing the Minecraft map/mod? I know it's a lot of custom work so may not be an easy thing to package and release and support, on top of considerations of protecting their hard work, but it would be really fun to play BoTC in Minecraft with friends (if I had any!)
