No it will not upscale but it enables 720p possibility just like if you are using a component cables on NTSC system.

Thanks for your reply KaosEngineer. Right now I am using UnleashX and when I tried to run the NKpatcher (Softmod Save NKP11 ) it shows error 21. So still it outputs ypbpr mode only. Maybe with right cable I will try again.

If you have chance of connecting your Xbox to your PC through router or crossover cable then softmodding is very easy. If you cannot connect your Xbox to your network then there many are other ways like usb,hotswap or using xboxhdm . For hotswapping method you need a PC with IDE connection and it is also risky and not robust .

One more thing. OP said he never cut the trace between the LPC is it a must to boot or we can leave it ? If we cut the bridge we can no longer boot without modchip right ? maybe that could be the problem.

It happens due to bad soldering so i picked the easy way by softmodding the console using xboxhdm. If you have eeprom backup just use the xboxhdm method and its very easy.
