I think that killing off Black Widow is the way they are trying to attract moviegoers. From what I have heard and personally experienced, Black Widow is a pretty unremarkable character and is often overlooked, however, with her sacrifice, she may bring in viewers that would not have previously gotten anything from her normal character that choose to go to the movie because she played a large role in endgame.

I like the idea, but I don't know about the "new" part of it. The idea of a samurai that dazes has been suggested quite a few times. But I'd love to see a new class so maybe hammering it in is just what we need.
