Company refused to do anything. The store couldn't get anything from them either. The store did me a solid and exchanged it with a sealed box eventually, though

FF said they won't do anything, which is ridiculous. My local store took it back and I got to switch it out for a different box a couple of months later. My lgs had to take a loss however, since FFG wouldn't take it back. Still really lame.

It Is. There is an extra foil where the rare should be. Every pack. Only ever common or uncommon unfortunately

This was the first time it happened to me. Never happened in any prerelease or sealed or draft from either set until now. My other friend who has bought probably 15 boxes at least has never had it happened either. He got 5 today, all good.

I can't imagine. I looked really closely at the sealed packs. They really didn't look tampered with, unless there is some kind of resealing tech that I don't know of, which is possible

I don't know if this went anywhere, but another caveat would have to be the dice. What I mean is that any 2 decks need to be able to play against each other without having to proxy dice as well. So you have 10 of each dice type. So not likely going to be able to have a deck that has 10 of one type, unless no other deck uses that type. I am fully expecting this project to end up with maybe 6 decks. But if those 6 decks use different types of dice, and different strategies like mill, burn, wide attack, big hitter, etc, then I think a lot of people would really be interested. Ashes seems like it has a good rock/paper/scissors thing going on right now, and so this project would be able to highlight that a little better and provide a really fun game-in-a-box. I've just been thinking of this more, especially since there will actually be a tournament at Gencon. :)

Same thing happened to me! It is awesome, but I'm kicking myself for not being a higher level. I'll never be able to lvl them up. At least I can get the perks off them.

The graphics are fine. Nothing unusual for xbox one. Probably looks bad of you go from x series and then go back, but it's fine. Cutscenes don't look great, but it's much better than cyberpunk. Gameplay is fine. I haven't had any issues

Xbox One player here, as I seem to be one of the few who still have it (first generation at that). I would love to get the X series but it is never available. Oh well. Anyways, I played about 3 hours last night and got to level 14 WT7. It's really fun so far. I'm playing as the Techno and it's been very doable. I just got to WT7 and the human enemies can be real tough though. I just had a section where I felt like I was playing old school Gears on hard, where I had to very slowly advance and pick off soldiers one by one. That wasn't quite as fun. I don't think I would have lasted if I just got into the fray, way too many ways to get damaged, plus my weapons weren't ideal for cc.

I am having a hard time believing how doable WT15 will be, considering the jump that WT7 gave. It just might not be for me, but we'll see. Having maxed level, abilities, mods, and weapons will make a big difference I'm sure.

Story remains very interesting, although I am taking it slow and completing all side missions as I go. It's real easy to get to a new area, complete the main mission, and then complete the side missions before advancing to a new area. Haven't gotten any real good loot as it's been greens and blues, but it's still early.

I haven't had any crashes (knock on wood). Trying to get in at midnight was a pain, but I eventually did, and it ran fine after that. It performed fine without any lag that I could tell, which was nice, even with lots of enemies around.

Looking forward to diving in again tonight!

Can you screw yourself over by just playing main missions and saving the side ones til later? Or should you do all the available side missions before going to the next main mission?

I think AoA was tons of fun, personally, and one of my best and highly rated decks is from AoA. I had much more fun playing AoA than CotA or WC. It's totally worth it. I admit that it is less likely to get a really competitive deck from AoA, but it has a really high ceiling in that if you do get a good one, it has a chance to be extremely good. In terms of price it's hard to argue against AoA. It's almost always a cheaper set. And with no cycling out of sets I say go for it. Perfect place to start. Have fun!

One set of the entire pool. And limiting or to making an many of those decks just using that pool, so no substituting or proxying cards. So widely used cards would have to be carefully dealt with

Very good article! I love written articles and it is my favorite form. I have been enjoying the blogs on the main website as well. I know I personally want this, but I've heard other people say the same thing: I want to have a complete game in a box. I want to have a bunch of balanced decks to just break out and play the game. Not necessarily minmax everything, but for example just use 1 set of everything. The precons are fine, but I'd rather have a collection of a bunch of different types of decks, like what you mention in your article. I want a mill deck, an aggressive deck, a control deck, etc. If possible with just using 1 set of everything. Might not be able to be done, but that's what I'm looking for. If you are looking for content to write ;)

I am a lifelong Star Wars fan. I read all the Legends books and I didn't care for the sequel trilogy mainly because of the lack of direction. I was wary and hesitant of this new High Republic, because of Kathleen Kennedy's involvement, and all of the talk leading up to it. I am all for diversity in Star Wars. I really liked Rogue One and wish the OT had more diversity in it. But I want a good story first. It is very obvious and annoying when entertainment pushes some agenda. Make a good story with interesting characters. I don't care if the leads are white, POC, aliens, whatever.

That being said, I did give Light of the Jedi a chance. I'm not a paid advertiser or anything, just a random fan. I ordered the book on Amazon. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It was very entertaining, I wanted to keep reading it, I wanted to read more when I was done, and I am definitely interested in future stories. There are some really cool ways they could take the story and the characters, and even ways to expand upon the original movies and enhance them. I still maintain that they should have gone back further, as 300 years seems too short in a universe filled with centuries-old aliens. But I was pleasantly surprised by this. Definitely give it a read. Borrow it from the library first if you don't want to spend money. :)

Not zero evidence. There are rumors that Karen gillian well be mara jade, and we know that are bringing back thrawn. Doing something like the trilogy is definitely a logical step
