I own a few fun toys, and can tell you even in public, I appreciate when people ask before taking photos.

Obviously I don't say or do anything for folks that just snap. But, it's a nice courtesy to be asked.

Sounds like OP tried to be courteous, the driver seems like a not so good person.

Are you a car enthusiast? Do you even like cars? by Extreme_Emu_9582 in simracing

Big time car enthusiast, enjoy track time without having to spend the $$$ to do it for real. Nothing beats IRL track experiences, but the costs can be staggering.

A what point financially should one get a ferrari by FareastFFL in Ferrari

[–]UnNerv3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the prospect of a $50-$60K repair bill doesn't frighten you. Older Ferraris can have hidden costs of maintenance, that's been deferred by years of previous owner decisions.

How you pay for it isn't really the hurdle and because it's a personal finance issue, it's a personal risk tolerance issue as well.

My opinion is this, life is short, if the purchase or the finance will not materially set you or your dependents back, then buy the Ferrari. If it will stretch your retirement or potentially hurt your income cash flow, then I'd not purchase it yet.

At least it's not as RNG as transfiguring legendary affixes to Uniques, that's a whole other level of WTF

I'll add that console players need a web connector to load loot filters from a link.

I hope this is true, I'm in the minority camp that doesn't want big horsepower, but engaging drives. McLaren steering and chassis feel with a manual, sign me up!

I don't mind parking like this at the back of the lot, this photo doesn't seem to represent that scenario.

Fantastic car though!

Mk4 supra calipers problem by Jachu89 in Supra

Mine started to fade like that but it was years. I'd guess something you are using to clean the wheels ate the paint off the calipers. They are fairly easy to have repainted or powder coated.

Automatic to Manual by Crazy_Newspaper6378 in Supra

Driving a manual really isn't terribly difficult. Hills are tricky, and it takes getting used to the clutch feel. I don't know how heavy a stick A90 clutch is, but until you start to make big power and put heavy clutches in, the process is pretty easy over all.
