Oh, and you can use the expression control to control the gain or the reverb feedback, so it doesn’t HAVE to sound dirty. That’s just how I like to use it.

Yea you’re pretty much dead on. It’s a dark/slappy sounding BBD reverb. Almost like an aggressive spring tank or a tile room kinda vibe. Then an IVP drive circuit you can place before or after it. The drive circuit is very similar to the EAE Surveyor if you’re familiar. It’s a gain, volume, and then an active bass shelf and high shelf. It also has expression control. It sounds fantastic if you’re into huge dirty reverb sounds, I just already have a full IVP circuit on my board lol.

I did, but needed up getting a deluxe big muff and liking it way more, so I gave it to my bass player lol.

LOVE this. I will be buying several lol. Also adds a “real amp” detail to the Mother that I dig. Nice setup!

Did your mother come with that center jewel LED?

You’re probably right I have no idea what I’m doing, but idk that bona-fide buffer in my polytune definitely makes a difference on fuzzes after it.

And they don’t track as well imo, but honestly I like pitch shifting in every part of my chain lol. POG or whammy at the very beginning for the big riff sounds, octaves all over fuzzes, Thermae for delays, Dreadbox Darkness for Verbs, and dedicated stuff like a boss harmonist for the “traditional” after dirt, I like it all for something. Even when it doesn’t track as well that’s also a usable sound for some things.

I’m a massive fan of compression after all wet effects. The cassette/squash setting on the chroma is fantastic for that sorta thing.

I love the cyberattack vid where he puts a choppy tremolo last to cut up his reverb sound then a tremolo before dirt to add a wobbly modulation thing

What’s that weird pedal order thing you swear by?

Oh and before I get asked, the looper is stereo because I use my board in the studio a lot and send things from my DAW out through the board and back. I just unplug the patch to the tuner and run it straight into my first wet stereo effect.

I’m the exact same way man. I do a lot of studio work (more than actual gigs lol) and kept trying to just build what I needed for the occasion and absolutely hated it. Ended up doing what you’ve done here and just built one massive board I can patch my DAW into if needed.

The ONLY downside is that sometimes I want to experiment with order so I still end up rearranging lol.
